2013 Christmas

These snapshots capture a little bit of our Christmas magic this year.
Despite what the picture shows.....we had a nice, reverent nativity play Christmas Eve night.
Followed by our Christmas pjs, which Ava refused to wear.  She is a hard one to please.
These crazy girls got up at 5:00 the next morning itching to open some presents.  I told them they could eat breakfast and open their stockings if they would leave me alone for another hour.  Cora woke up right after that, so we started the festivities together.
Santa delivered American Girl dolls.  Just what they wanted.  Quincy told me later that she knew Santa was real because, "You would never buy a doll that was so expensive."
The whole day was spent playing and playing and playing.  It was fabulous.  I really have the best girls ever.
And Josh had the whole day with us too!! How lucky are we to have him
on a rotation with a nice Jewish resident who took call Christmas Eve for us??!!
